Till battery is fully charged, it is under BOOST mode ensuring quick charging . Series BABC chargers are transformer based, with Diode/ SCR bridge rectifier having Constant Current / Constant Voltage (CC / CV) mode of charging. Heavy duty double copper wound transformer ensures galvanic isolation from mains to battery and hence fully safe.
I C Controlled voltage monitoring circuitry constantly check the firing angle of SCR and with respect to zero crossing and desired voltage and current thus ensuring CC CV control.
